Save the Date - CORBA's Fat Tire Festival October 17th

It's never too early to start planning for a really good time! Price Point is proud to be a sponsor of CORBA (Concerned Off Road Bicyclists Association) and their annual Fat Tire Festival. This year it is going to be on October 17th at the beautiful Castaic Lake in Southern California. As they so eloquently put it:

So join them for a fun-filled day of riding, exhibitions and events for mountain bikers and their families to raise much needed funds for trail maintenance and raise awareness on trail access.

More Opportunities to Stay Connected to the Sport You Love? (And Possibly Win Free Stuff!)

Yes, we know. We know! Everyone wants you to follow them on Twitter. Well, if you're into that kind of thing and want to join the conversation of rides and events, then follow Price Point on Twitter. You can also use it as a way to give us feedback or ask questions. We're here to help.

Not only that, we also randomly hold fun contests on our Twitter feed. Sometimes it's just, "Whoever answers this trivia question get some free swag!" Other times it might be, "Whoever has the best ride story of the weekend gets a prize!" Check out what one of our previous winners got in the image to the right. Not bad! "The Forza Pro was shipped in one large box that included the frame, wheelset, and other components. All of the components were wrapped in foam, bubble wrap, or separated from each other with cardboard to prevent damage. Everything was very well protected during shipment. I have only put 145 miles on the Forza Pro, but I can say that the ride quality is much better than my other bikes. Since this is my first carbon fiber bike, I was very surprised with the stiffness of the frame and the way that it absorbs road shock. I have aluminum, steel, and titanium framed bikes and can say that the Forza Pro rides smoother than any of them. Overall, I am impressed with the level of componentry, the ride quality, and price.The only qualm I had with the purchase of the Forza Pro was the 175 mm crank arms that are put on the 54 cm and larger frames. This seemed to go against everything I had read and most sizing thumb rules I had found. On the other hand some web sites indicated that the longer length should not be an issue since the change in leg and knee angles is very small. I was prepared to swap out the crankset after giving it a try, but the longer length has not bothered me and I expect that the longer crank arms will stay with the bike."

"Guys – You have NO idea how INSANELY happy I am with my choice of the SETTE PRIMO frame for my new road bike build. I have been on an aluminum LeMond FOREVER. I bought my wife an Orbea Opal in March for close to $4000 – it is super sweet, don’t get me wrong. But it was finally time for me to build a new bike, I decided on this frameset. I got the frameset last Friday and all of my remaining parts from you guys – went to dinner, drank a jumbo margarita, got home and finished the build about 1AM.
