Big hits to big climbs, the 36 FLOAT gave Mark Weir the edge to win the Downieville Downhill for the 6th consecutive year. The 36 FLOAT RC2 is the perfect fork for your lightweight 6 inch bike needs, combining Fox’s new 36 chassis with its tool-free 20QR system and RC2 damper with the FIT cartridge and Fox’s FLOAT air technology to give the world the lightest and strongest 6 inch fork made for heavy-duty trail and free riding. External adjustments include air spring pressure, high and low speed compression, and rebound. Big air, big trails, big bikes...That is what the 36 FLOAT is all about.

A patent pending internal bladder separates oil from air to ensure superlative damping consistency and fade-free performance. Externally adjustable, click-by-click rebound damping and a position-sensitive progressive bottoming system with factory set compression. The R cartridge jams an incredible amount of performance into a lightweight package.

Though each FOX Isolated Technology cartridge is specific to the needs of its environment, each share one common theme; high performance damping works best when oil and air are separated. Foam is good for Cafe Lattes, but not good for damping. Fox’s new FIT cartridge with Isolated Technology damping isolates oil from air, keeping the oil free from emulsion that can lead to fading and damping lag.

All 2008 36’s have NEW Crown, 20QR, Axle, Post Mounts, and Cable Guide. The new design features a lighter and stiffer crown, a new lighter lower leg design with an integrated 20mm QR for tool-free axle removal and superior torsional grip, and an incredible weight savings of .2 lbs over the current design! Same strength, same stiffness, tool-free axle, AND lighter weight – The all-new 36 is ready for just about anything.
The New 20QR System – Tool-Free Quick Release System is the stiffest 20 mm quick release axle available. The tool-free axle is hollow forged, providing a 10% weight reduction with a 35% increase in shear strength and a 60% increase in torsional strength.
Less is more. The NEW integrated disc brake cable guide is easier to install due to it’s simplified redesign.
Ultra-light and ultra rigid post mounts pass disc fatigue tests over 25 times higher than CEN/ISO standard.

"The Forza Pro was shipped in one large box that included the frame, wheelset, and other components. All of the components were wrapped in foam, bubble wrap, or separated from each other with cardboard to prevent damage. Everything was very well protected during shipment. I have only put 145 miles on the Forza Pro, but I can say that the ride quality is much better than my other bikes. Since this is my first carbon fiber bike, I was very surprised with the stiffness of the frame and the way that it absorbs road shock. I have aluminum, steel, and titanium framed bikes and can say that the Forza Pro rides smoother than any of them. Overall, I am impressed with the level of componentry, the ride quality, and price.The only qualm I had with the purchase of the Forza Pro was the 175 mm crank arms that are put on the 54 cm and larger frames. This seemed to go against everything I had read and most sizing thumb rules I had found. On the other hand some web sites indicated that the longer length should not be an issue since the change in leg and knee angles is very small. I was prepared to swap out the crankset after giving it a try, but the longer length has not bothered me and I expect that the longer crank arms will stay with the bike."

"Guys – You have NO idea how INSANELY happy I am with my choice of the SETTE PRIMO frame for my new road bike build. I have been on an aluminum LeMond FOREVER. I bought my wife an Orbea Opal in March for close to $4000 – it is super sweet, don’t get me wrong. But it was finally time for me to build a new bike, I decided on this frameset.
