The Prettiest Wheels, Ever?

In addition to being one of the most aerodynamic wheelsets on the market, the EC 90 TT enjoys the distinct advantage of being the lightest 90mm wheelset on the planet which make running them a no brainer decision even for courses with a significant amount of climbing.

The aerodynamically proven R4 TT front hub uses 12 bladed Sapim spokes. The rear bumps the spoke count up to 16. Both connect to their respective rims via internal nipples to keep the surface area as slippery as possible. In a further nod to weight savings Easton employs what they call Variable Nipple Bed Technology which places carbon fiber precisely where it's needed to support spoke tension. The low spoke count keeps the weight down while keeping the wheels plenty stiff. Would you want to use them in a nine corner crit? Probably not, but anything else on the road is fair game.
